About the Course
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Awareness Training
This Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Awareness training course equips healthcare and social care workers with a clear, practical understanding of autism as part of the wider neurodiversity spectrum. The session explores how autism can influence communication, sensory processing, behaviour, and daily living, helping staff provide support that is respectful, structured, and genuinely person‑centred.
Participants will learn how to distinguish between behaviours linked to autism and those shaped by personality, environment, or life experience.
