About the Course

Equality and Diversity Training

This Equality and Diversity training course supports nurses, care staff, and healthcare administrators to create inclusive, respectful, and culturally sensitive care environments. The session raises awareness of the key principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion, helping staff recognise the value of individual differences and understand how to provide care that is free from discrimination, prejudice, or bias.

Participants will explore how unconscious bias influences decision‑making, how legislation protects individuals’ rights, and how to challenge discriminatory behaviour safely and confidently. The course also strengthens communication skills, promotes dignity and respect, and encourages staff to contribute to a fair and supportive workplace culture.
