About the Course
Fall Prevention and Management Training
This Fall Prevention and Management training course supports care staff, domiciliary care workers, and social care professionals to reduce the risk of falls and promote safety, mobility, and independence for older adults. The session is particularly relevant for those working in residential, community, and nursing settings, where preventing falls is essential to maintaining wellbeing and reducing avoidable harm.
Participants will explore the common causes of falls, how ageing and health conditions contribute to increased risk, and the practical steps staff can take to create safer environments.
