This Fire Safety Awareness training course supports all healthcare workers, support staff, and managers to understand their responsibilities in preventing, identifying, and responding to fire‑related risks. The session provides essential knowledge on current fire safety legislation, risk assessment, and safe evacuation procedures, ensuring staff can contribute to a fire‑safe environment across all care settings.
Participants will learn how fires start, how to reduce the likelihood of ignition, and what actions to take if a fire occurs. The course also covers the correct use of fire extinguishers, recognition of fire safety signage, and the importance of following organisational fire policies and procedures.
