About the Course

Nutrition, Positive Eating & Early Years Training

This Nutrition, Positive Eating & Early Years training course equips early years practitioners, social care workers, and educators with the knowledge and confidence to support healthy eating habits in young children. The session explores the foundations of balanced nutrition, the role of mealtime environments, and practical strategies that encourage children to develop positive relationships with food.

Participants will learn how nutrition influences growth, behaviour, and long‑term wellbeing, and how to create supportive routines that promote independence, curiosity, and enjoyment at mealtimes. The course also covers common challenges such as fussy eating, portion control, and working collaboratively with parents and carers.
