About the Course
Professional Boundaries Training
This Professional Boundaries training course supports residential and domiciliary care staff, as well as social care workers, to understand, maintain, and uphold clear professional boundaries in their daily practice. The session explores how boundaries protect both staff and the individuals they support, reduce the risk of misunderstandings, and promote safe, ethical, person‑centred care.
Participants will examine the principles that underpin professional conduct, including privacy, dignity, independence, safeguarding, and accountability. The course also highlights how effective communication, self‑awareness, and reflective practice contribute to maintaining safe working relationships and preventing boundary breaches.
