About the Course

Safeguarding of Children Training

This Safeguarding of Children training course supports social care workers, educators, and childcare practitioners to recognise, respond to, and report safeguarding concerns confidently and appropriately. The session builds a strong understanding of safeguarding principles, the different forms of abuse, and the responsibilities of professionals working with children and young people.

Participants will explore how to identify signs of harm, how to respond if a child discloses a concern, and the correct procedures for reporting and recording information. The course emphasises creating safe, supportive environments where children feel protected, listened to, and respected.
