Safeguarding of Children (Advanced) Training
This Safeguarding of Children (Advanced) training course is designed for managers, safeguarding leads, and experienced practitioners who hold enhanced responsibilities for protecting children and young people. The session provides a detailed understanding of the child protection system, the legal and procedural frameworks that underpin safeguarding practice, and the expectations placed on senior staff when concerns arise.
Participants will explore how to recognise and respond to complex safeguarding situations, how to navigate local referral pathways, and how to work effectively within multi‑agency processes such as Strategy Discussions, Section 47 enquiries, and Child Protection Conferences. The course also strengthens confidence in decision‑making, documentation, and professional challenge.
