This comprehensive course equips staff with the knowledge and confidence needed to safely support individuals living with diabetes across a range of care settings.
Attendees will learn to recognise the early and advanced signs and symptoms of diabetes, understand the differences between Type 1, Type 2 and other forms of the condition, and identify indicators of irregular blood glucose levels.
The course also explores effective management strategies, including diet, lifestyle considerations, medication pathways, and the safe use of insulin. By the end of the training, staff will feel more confident in delivering person‑centred care, promoting safety, and responding appropriately to changes in an individual’s condition.
